Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005101444A1] The invention relates to a leading auxiliary switch (1) for a circuit breaker (3). An operating slide (10) and a contact support (20) are slidably mounted in parallel to a first direction of slide (Y1) in an auxiliary switch housing (2). A drive slide (30) is mounted in a second direction of slide (X2) extending at a right angle thereto and is provided with two slide plates (32, 33) which are positioned at an angle. The drive slide (30) is disposed between the operating slide (10) and the contact support (20). In a first phase of operation, the operating slide (10) slides on the first slide plate (32) and the contact support (20) slides on the second slide plate (33) until it reaches the ON position. In a second operating phase, the operating slide (10) disengages from the first slide plate (32), the contact support (20) maintains its ON position and the operating cam (10) operates an operating element (5) of the circuit breaker (3).
