Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2855356A1] The method involves determining configuration data of 3D wavelet encoding to select a reference image for a sequence of successive images, based on a predefined optimizing criteria. A unit of configuration information having a reference image data is generated. The wavelet encoding is executed based on the information to produce a flow of encoded data having a combination of unit of information and encoding data for image sequences.
