Abstract (en)
Cable brake comprises braking plates (17, 18) whose braking force can be adjusted using a return mechanism (RM). The spring path of the springs (22) which producing the braking force of the plates can be changed. Preferred Features: The springs are arranged between a first pressure plate (21) connected to the braking plate (18) and a second pressure plate which can be adjusted between two stop positions (e1, e2).
