Abstract (en)
The profiled strip has a support web (11) for the narrow sides of the insulation panels and a fixing web (14) connected at right angle to a long edge (12) of the support web to secure the profiled strip (10) against the building wall. A marginal web (18) set on the second long edge (13) of the support web extends perpendicular to same whilst a plaster web (22) on this second long edge of the support web extends inclined away from the support web and has a greater distance from the fixing web than the marginal web. The plaster web, marginal web and /or support web form on a surface remote from the fixing web a longitudinal groove (26) which has one or two cutting edges (28) on its surface so that the groove has several rear cut sections (27). Independent claim describes method for fixing insulation plates to walls by connecting profiled strips together and inserting connectors in the grooves. Independent claim describes impact dowel for use in fixing profiled strip.
