Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1233127A1] The safety lock comprises a body (1), a barrel (2) able to rotate and translate in the body and one or more key hole masking flaps (3,4). Each of the flaps has a first edge element (31,41) by which it engages in a groove (11) in the body to prevent any translation of the barrel if the key has a thickness too big for the lock. Each flap has a second element (32) by which it engages the groove to prevent any barrel translation if the key has too small a thickness for the lock.
