[origin: EP1637796A2] A vehicle external lighting arrangement comprises a transparent disc (LS) and a base (GK) enclosing a light housing (LA) space with a molded seal around the edges comprising a thermoplastic elastomer that holds the two parts together and forms a watertight seal against leaks. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an arrangement as above having further gap sealing;and (B) a production process for the light arrangement above.
