Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004030806A1] The present invention relates to a method and equipment for converting molecular gases, like carbon dioxide or oxides of nitrogen into a atomic form, carbon, oxygen or nitrogen, by using a rotating gas plasma reactor. The gases to be treated are fed to the reactor and treated to open the molecular bind between the atoms to release the atoms as pure atomic gases. After that the different types of atomic gases are separated into their own discharge channels for making pure atomic gases.
