[origin: WO2004106823A1] The invention relates to a door for a refrigerating appliance, said door consisting of a frame (4) and insulated glazing that is fixed to the frame (4) and has at least one outer pane (3) and one inner pane (6). An edge region of the outer pane (3) extends over the edge of the inner pane (6), and the frame (4) is fixed to the edge region of a surface pertaining to the outer pane (3) and facing the inner pane (6). Said frame (4) comprises an outer frame part (12) consisting of metal and fixed to the outer pane (3), an inner frame part (19) which is adjacent to the inner pane (6), and a thermal insulation element (18, 28) which connects the two frame parts in a fixed manner.
