[origin: WO2005006751A2] The invention relates to a method for displaying personal information in an interactive television programme, comprising: a stage in which personal information is acquired with the aid of personal equipment; a stage in which said personal information is transmitted to a content broadcast server; a stage in which the information from the content broadcast server is processed, whereby said information is transformed into a format which can be expolited by the interactive television application software and said data is encapsulated in a video stream format. The invention is characterized in that said encapsulated data is broadcast in multiplex mode with the video streams corresponding to the TV programme associated with said personal information and in that the inventive method also comprises a simultaneous display and non-display stage, which can be initiated by the user, for video information and said personal information. The invention also relates to a system for carrying out the inventive method.
