Abstract (en)
The segmented tray of plastic to hold portions of foodstuff has portion bowls (1) separable along design parting lines (5) with corresponding material weakening. The design parting lines are constructed in wave form and the material of the edge flange (4) is broken along these parting lines with the exception of the narrow break sections forming the connection between adjacent edge flanges. The wave form of the parting lines corresponds to a sine form or something close to it.
