Eine Vorrichtung zur Beeinflussung der Breite und/oder Lage einer Bahn (02) beinhaltet zumindest eine Stützelement (01), welches auf einer der Bahn (02) zugewandten Seite eine Öffnung (08) für den Austritt eines unter Druck stehenden Fluids aufweist. Das Stützelement (01) weist auf seiner der Bahn (02) zugewandten Seite eine Fläche mit einer Vielzahl von Öffnungen (08) für den Austritt eines unter Druck stehenden Fluids aus einem gemeinsamen Hohlraum (04) auf, welche mit einem Durchmesser kleiner 500 µm ausgeführt sind.
