Abstract (en)
The cover has an upper part (10) covering pulleys and a tension roller, and a lower part (11) covering a crankshaft pulley and a set of tension rollers and including a perforation (12) to pass the crankshaft pulley. The two parts are formed of thermo-compressed textile felt composite and have high thickness and low density zones and low thickness and high density zones, where the cover is made of polyamide PA6. An independent claim is also included for a spark ignition engine and a front timing cover assembly.
