Die Erfindung betrifft eine Griffstange (6) für ein Haushaltsgerät, insbesondere Herd oder Backofen, mit einem länglichen Handgriff (6.1) und mindestens einem daran angeordneten Bedienelement (6.2) zur Auswahl eines Parameters und/oder einer Betriebsart für den Betrieb des Haushaltsgeräts und mit einer Übertragungseinrichtung zur Weiterleitung des Ausgangssignals des Bedienelements (6.2) an eine Gerätesteuerung des Haushaltsgeräts. Um eine Griffstange (6) anzugeben, bei der der Bedienkomfort für den Benutzer und gleichzeitig der optische Gesamteindruck verbessert ist, ist das Bedienelement (6.2) als ein Drehknebel mit einer integrierten Taste (6.2.1) ausgebildet und an einem stirnseitigen Ende des Handgriffs (6.1) angeordnet.
