Abstract (en)
The present invention is related to a method to synthesise speech, comprising the steps of applying a linguistic analysis to a sentence to be transformed into a speech signal, whereby the analysis yields phonemes to be pronounced and, associated to each phoneme, a list of linguistic features, selecting candidate speech units, based on selected linguistic features, forming the speech signal by concatenating speech units selected among the candidate speech units.
