Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005021415A1] The invention relates to a mobile crane jib (1) with a self-sufficient power supply (19) disposed thereon which supplies at least one hydraulic consumer (16, 21, 28a, 28b) disposed thereon with hydraulic power. The hydraulic consumers (16, 21, 28a, 28b) disposed on the mobile crane jib (1) are thus not supplied using, e.g., a hydraulic unit disposed on the superstructure of the crane and providing the hydraulic power for the respective hydraulic consumers via flexible pipes but using a hydraulic unit (19) which is disposed in the top area of the mobile crane jib or in the area of the articulation of a possibly present second jib section (2). The arrangement of the hydraulic unit (19) directly on the jib removes the need for flexible pipes which are usually required for supplying the hydraulic consumers.
