Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005003636A1] The invention relates to a sliding shelf system for an oven, comprising two rail supports (1) that can be mounted on the lateral walls of the oven muffle. External rail elements (2) for a telescopic rail (11) that consists of an outer rail (2), an inner rail (6, 6') and optionally one or more central rails (5, 5'), are mounted in a fixed or removable manner on at least one plane of the oven and preferably on several planes. The aim of the invention is to provide a sliding shelf system for baking products that is more cost-effective, more flexible and easier to clean. To achieve this, the outer rail elements (2) that are mounted on the rail supports (1) have a substantially U-shaped profile, whose opening faces the interior of the oven, thus creating a guide, into which either a baking product shelf (7) can be directly inserted without additional guide means, or in which removable inner rail elements (6, 6') can be mounted, as is necessary, the upper face of said elements being provided with bearing surfaces for holding a baking product shelf (7).
