The oven has constructional and functional elements combined into a functional unit accommodated in an oven housing (7) consisting of several sections (8-10). The housing sections have adjusting and fitting elements which can adjust and fix the housing sections in relation to one another and in relation to the functional unit. The oven housing is constructionally connected to the functional unit. The housing sections can be pre-assembled with their adjusting and fitting elements without tools, and especially without screws.

Der insbesondere auch mit Mikrowellenenergie betriebene Ofen besitzt eine Ofenmuffel (1), die elektrische, elektronische und/oder hochfrequente Bauelemente besitzt und eine Funktionseinheit darstellt, welche umgeben ist von einem aus mehreren Gehäuseteilen (8, 9, 10) bestehenden Ofengehäuse (7), das mit der Funktionseinheit verbunden ist. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Gehäuseteile (8, 9, 10) sich gegenseitig selbst und mit der Funktionseinheit justierend und sich gegenseitig haltend ausgebildet.
