[origin: EP1643530A1] The device has a control lever for driving a clamping mechanism that controls opening and closing of an electric connection between two connection terminals. Fixed and movable electric contacts open and close the electric connection. A thermal switch acts on the clamping mechanism via a drive (8) in case of electric overload in an electric line. A unit adjusting a trigger level of the switch is integrated to the drive.
