[origin: EP1643598A1] Free ends of the contact spring arms (32, 34) are each arranged near the entry opening (18) of the connector component (10) which accepts the plug pin. A widened part (60) stops the inserted component (14) against the base section (12). The base section has recesses (30) in which the widened parts engage. Each contact spring arms include a constriction (62) in the transition zone to the widened part. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method of manufacture.
