Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004096508A1] The invention concerns a device for transversely perforating several strips (1). Said device comprises several rotating shafts (2) about which rotate blades (4), and several mating press rolls (7). A strip to be perforated (11) moves respectively between a blade and a mating press roll (7). The mating press rolls (7) are arranged on the support (6, 17) so as to be mobile relative to the machine mount (1) wherein are mounted the rotating shafts (2) of the blades (4). Said support (6, 17) enables the distance between the mating press rolls (7) and the rotating shafts (2) of the blades (4) to be adjusted at the same value and simultaneously for all the mating press rolls (7). The invention is characterized in that the support (17) may be displaced substantially parallel to a line (17) which connects the shafts of the mating press rolls (7) and the rotating shafts (2) about which the blades (4) rotate.
