[origin: WO2005002853A1] The aim of the invention is to provide a method that permits a precise, objective evaluation and control of output-relevant quality parameters of raster-scanned image data and guarantees the reliable identification of quality flaws that originate in the composition of the raster-scanned image data prior to its output. To achieve this, in said method for the quality control of raster-scanned image data sets, the technical output suitability of output-relevant quality parameters to be transmitted is determined in raster-scanned image data sets using an evaluation device and said parameters are evaluated for at least one selected output method by comparison with at least one reference parameter.
