[origin: US2006086012A1] The invention relates to a laundry iron comprising a water reservoir ( 3 ) provided with a filling hole ( 5 ) situated at the rear end of the iron so that the reservoir ( 3 ) is filled while holding the iron tipped forward. Said reservoir ( 3 ) communicates with a drop-by-drop body ( 7 ) that supplies a vaporization chamber ( 10 ). The invention is characterized in that the drop-by-drop body ( 7 ) is supplied by a channel ( 8 ) that open near the rear of the reservoir ( 3 ).
