Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005008011A3] The invention relates to a composite profile, in particular for doors, windows, or facades, made from at least one or more metal profile(s) (1, 2) and at least two insulation webs (3), whereby the at least one metal profile (1, 2) and the insulation webs (3) are positively connected to each other, such that the adjacent flange sections (4) on both insulation webs (3a, b), or on the one insulation web (3a, b) engage in adjacent locating grooves (5) on the metal profile (1, 2). The above is characterised in that a separation wall (11), between both adjacent locating grooves (4), extends, at the end thereof away from the groove base (12), beyond the free end of the formed webs (10a, b) and comprises a shoulder (13, 13', 13 ) at that point which secures both adjacent flange sections (4) to the metal profiles with a positive fit.
