Abstract (en)
Procedure for transporting and connecting pipes along their longitudinal direction (29) includes connecting the rear end of first pipe (20) with front end (53) of second pipe (22) with an advancing speed. This is done by transporting rear end of first pipe and front end of second pipe independently with different transportation equipment (10,12) towards a common transportation. An independent claim is also included for a plant for connecting and transporting pipes along their longitudinal direction.
