[origin: EP1645413A2] The stapling apparatus has frame (13) with pivoted stapling cylinder (11), which has an axle (14) with stapling piston valve (16). Stapling pistons (21) are arranged in stapling piston valve. In each piston valve, two stapling piston systems are arranged for different types of stapling. Depending upon desired stapling width and wire diameter, stapling piston system can be activated or deactivated.
