Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005002838A1] The invention relates to a bottoming device for cross bottom valve sacks for producing the cross bottoms in paper sacks. The inventive device comprises a gluing station for slips and/or bottoms provided with glue output holes (17) which can be selectively supplied with glue. According to said invention, the selection of the glue output holes (17) makes it possible to define the size of gluings (6, 7, 8, 9). Said glue output holes are connected to at least one application head (1) which is provided with valves (3) which selectively open or close connections (11, 16) between the glue output holes and a glue supply (4a, 4b, 13, 15) which is provided with glue supplying conduits (4a, 4b, 13) and at least one cavity (15) through which at least one part of valves (3) is fed with glue and which is provided at least with one 5 mm diameter at least at one point.
