[origin: WO2005002901A1] The invention relates to a method for operating multimedia and/or telematic services with associated user interfaces (16, 17, 18, 19) in a motor vehicle which is characterised in that a speed dependent control (10, 125, 130a, 130b, 130c) for selecting services and the representation thereof by the user interfaces (16, 17, 18, 19). A service management unit (10) which is connected to a tachometer (12) controls the automatic adjustment of the service representation and use according to the motor vehicle respective speed, thereby relieving a driver, limiting accident risk and improving comfort.
