[origin: FR2857987A1] The heddle frame (2) consists of two uprights (4, 4') and two cross-members (6, 6'), each equipped with a heddle bar and joined together by projections on the uprights and cavities in ends of the cross-members. The joints include intermediate tubular fixings set in cross-member recesses, with their inner volumes providing the cavities for at least part the cross-member projections, with fastenings to fix them together. The tubular fixings are of steel, especially stainless steel, or of a light alloy, especially aluminum, and they can be fastened to the cross-member projections by adhesive. In addition each tubular fixing has holes in its sides giving access to its inner volume, and is fastened in a cross-member cavity by screws.
