[origin: EP1647198A2] The applicator consists of a support (2) with a handle (12) and applicator elements in two groups (13, 14) projecting from one face. The applicator elements are positioned so that those (30) in the first group (13) are covered by outside rows (15, 16) of the elements in the second group (14). The elements in the second group are longer and set closer together than the elements in the first group, which can have at least two, and preferably three, different lengths.
