Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1647641A2] A kitchen sink has an inlet to cup-shaped a drain hole fitting with a side outlet. The cup has a secondary smaller diameter inner cup surrounded by a funnel-shaped ring and discharging to a side-outlet. The drain hole fitting has guides that accelerate the discharge rate. In a further embodiment the unit incorporates an odour back-flow seal.
