Abstract (en)
The thermal insulation unit for a pump housing (1) comprises an outer insulation shell (2) consisting of a plastic material or a sheet metal, in particular, aluminum, and a space (6) filled completely with a plastic foam between the shell and the pump housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing a pump housing with the proposed thermal insulation unit.
