Abstract (en)
The invention relates to an apparatus and method for checking the luminescent security feature. The invention is characterized in that the measured response signal has overlapping spectral bands and the response signal can be read according to a simplified mode, whereby the measured response signal is measured as a broadband response signal and/or a complex mode, whereby the measured response signal is measured as a set of narrowband response signals and whereby at least one of the spectral bands of the measured response signal is measured individually resolved.
