Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005011918A2] An incremental gear for a clamping tool and/or an expansion tool exhibiting a fixed cheek and a carrier firmly connected to the fixed cheek wherein a connecting rod or traction rod is movably mounted with a moveable cheek disposed thereon. The incremental gear is provided with two different step shafts for stepped displacement of the connecting rod or traction rod together with the moveable cheek in relation to the fixed cheek in a direction of advancement and comprises at least one actuation arm which can be actuated with at least two lifting configurations. According to the invention, a device is provided for shifting from a first lifting configuration to a second lifting configuration. When the shifting device is actuated, particularly in a predetermined state, the shifted lifting configuration is directly engaged in a non-transitional manner.
