According to the invention, an improvement in resistance to mechanical loading, possibly caused by movement in the masonry and/or in the frame component may be achieved, whereby the multi-layer connector element (1) has a flexible elastic expansion film (2) at least in a part of the width thereof and a further rigid layer (3) is connected to the flexible expansion film (2) in divided sections (7).
