Abstract (en)
The unit has a glass pane (16) fastened in frames by glass retaining strips (18,20), where width of a recess corresponds to the sum of the thickness of the glass pane and glass retaining strips. A spacer (34) which is separately guided by a frame arbor, is provided between two separated partial areas of the strips, where the partial areas are intervened into a recess. The spacer is used for fixing one of the strips. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a use of a glazing unit (b) a method for manufacturing a glazing unit.
