Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1650427A1] The fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines comprises an outer (5) and an inner (7) valve longitudinally movable within it, with both needles interacting with a valve seat (14) and by longitudinal movement controlling the opening of an injection orifice (20,22). A control chamber (27) hydraulically pressurizes the end faces of the outer and inner valve needles. The control chamber is connectable to a valve chamber (51) of a control valve (50) via just a drain restrictor (44), whereby the valve chamber is connectable to a leakage oil chamber.
