[origin: WO2005013748A1] The invention relates to a traction device which produces large transmission when the tension of the traction cable is reduced and/or is zero, such that during rotation of a handwheel, lengths of the traction cable can vary significantly. As soon as the tension of the traction cable exceeds a threshold value, the clamping device produces transmission in a slow manner such that rotation of the handwheel produces comparatively small variations of the length of the traction cable and enables the clamping force to be adjusted in a delicate manner.
