[origin: WO2005016060A1] The invention relates to a hair removal device comprising tweezers. The inventive device consists of a handheld casing housing an electric motor which drives a rotating roller around a central shaft, said roller comprising one or more rows of tweezers. According to the invention, each tweezers consists of two blades which are disposed side by side in the longitudinal direction of the shaft, and at least one of said blades is a mobile blade (20). The invention further comprises control means which transmit an alternating translational movement to the aforementioned blades, such that they move towards one another. Moreover, two mobile blades (20) are connected at the base thereof by means of a spacer (43), such as to form a one-piece mobile element (44). At least two parallel-mounted one-piece mobile elements (44) occupy the same row of the rotating roller and are longitudinally offset in relation to one another. In addition, the blades from two consecutive rows are angularly offset along the periphery of the rotating roller.
