Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005012061A2] The invention relates to a method for steering a vehicle by means of a superimposed steering system, wherein a steering angle, given by the driver, and another angle (additional steering angle) are determined and said additional steering angle can be superimposed on the given steering angle according to other parameters, in particular, vehicle dynamics parameters, by means of a superimposition actuator, in particular an electric motor, and via a superimposed transmission, in order to set a resultant steering angle. Said method is characterised in that a value for an input angle (A) (53) of the superimposed transmission is determined, according to a resultant steering angle of the steering system and according to a parameter which depends directly on the additional steering angle, or describes said additional steering angle.
