[origin: WO2005015033A1] A wall plug (10) comprising a body part (12) of generally cylindrical form and an anchorage part (14) projecting from one axial end of the body part (12), the body part (12) and anchorage part (14) being integrally moulded from a plastics material. The body part (12) has an axially extending bore (18) for receiving a screw fixing and the anchorage part (14) has an axially extending passageway (20) axially aligned with the bore (18) of the body part (12). The passageway (20) includes internally projecting screw thread formations (50) with which a screw fixing extending along the passageway (20) can screw threadingly engage.
