Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005015169A1] The invention relates to a viscosity sensor assembly for measuring the viscosity of a liquid (10) and at least one additional characteristic of said liquid. Said assembly comprises: a piezo-electric viscosity sensor device (5), which is completely immersed in the liquid (10) to be measured and comprises electric contact points (6) for electrically controlling fluctuations in volume on their surface, said contact points being resistant to the liquid (10); first electric supply lines (7), which are resistant to the liquid (10) and which are connected at one end to a control/evaluation electronic system outside the liquid (10) and at the other end to the contact points (6) on the surface of the viscosity sensor device (5); a second sensor device (50; 50'; 60; 60') for detecting the additional characteristic or characteristics of the liquid, said device being provided on the surface of the viscosity sensor device (5) and comprising electric contact points (58) on the surface of the viscosity sensor device (5) for electric control, said points being resistant to the liquid (10); and second electric supply lines (7'; 7"), which are resistant to the liquid (10) and which are connected at one end to the control/evaluation electronic system outside the liquid (10) and at the other end to the contact points of the second sensor device (50; 50'; 60; 60').
