[origin: WO2005008539A1] A system and method for integrating data from a source application to a target application includes an interface module incorporating a publisher for publishing extracted data in an XML message and subscriber for uncompressing the XML message. The method includes the steps of publishing an XML message of user data from the source application; receiving, decoding and uncompressing the XML message; and transforming the XML message into a workflow request for integrating the source data to the target application.
