Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1652453A1] The support has two dimensionally stable shells (5, 6) that are rotatably connected with one another in an open position by a film hinge. The shells are provided with an integrated upholstery (7) with respect to the U-shape of the support. The two shells are injection moulded from plastic and are formed as a one piece part. A plate-like reinforcement manufactured from plastic material is provided in an inner side of the upholstery. An independent claim is also included for a chair with a backrest in which a neck support is attached.
