Abstract (en)
The machine has a drive shaft and a drive roller (34, 38) to pass magnetic and contactless tickets to a magnetic head (28), respectively. An actuator (70) moves the roller along the shaft between, during passage of the magnetic ticket, one position in which the roller forces determined portion of the ticket against the head and, during passage of the contactless ticket, another position in which the roller does not face the head. The magnetic head is capable, during passage of the magnetic ticket, of reading and/or writing data on a magnetic track.
