[origin: EP1653483A1] The cable has a central supporting unit surrounded by a set of wires, where the supporting unit consists of a turn-free steel cable, which is provided with an outer insulating layer. The steel cable has a core wire (6), a layer of a set of wires (7) ropped on the wire (6), and another layer of wires (10) rolled on the former layer. Standard direction and length of the two layers deviate from each other.
