The device has a base part (10) attached at a household appliance, and a control unit (12) that is movably attached at the base part and includes a translucent area (16). An inner part (18) is translucent according to an assigned procedure and is arranged within the control unit. A light source (14) is arranged within the base unit or the inner part, where the inner part has a projection and an inscription that is a numeric scale. An independent claim is also included for a household appliance including an operating device.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bedienungseinrichtung für ein Haushaltsgerät oder dergleichen. Die Bedienungseinrichtung umfasst ein Basisteil (10), das in oder an dem Haushaltsgerät angebracht oder anbringbar ist, und ein Bedienungselement (12), das an dem Basisteil (10) bewegbar angebracht ist und wenigstens einen lichtdurchlässigen Bereich (16) aufweist. Weiterhin umfasst die Bedienungseinrichtung ein Innenteil (18), das nach einem vorbestimmten Schema stellenweise lichtdurchlässig ist und innerhalb des Bedienungselements (12) angeordnet ist, sowie wenigstens eine Lichtquelle (14), die innerhalb des Basisteils (10) oder innerhalb des Innenteils (18) angeordnet ist.
