[origin: WO2005013957A2] The invention relates to a solid dispersible and orodispersible instantly releasing pharmaceutical composition which is present in a aqueous medium in the form of particles whose shape is less than 710 mu m, contains at least one type of metformin active substance and is characterised in that it comprises: a) 65-90 mass % metformin active substance possibly in the form of a salt or a combination of said metformin active substance and a hypoglycaemic active substance; b) 0.5-4 mass % binding agent or a combination of binding agents; c) 1-12 mass % disintegrator or a combination of disintegrators; d) 0-10 mass % diluting agent or a combination of diluting agents; c) 0.05-3 mass % sweetening agent or a combination of sweetening agents and f) one ore several additional excipients, the mass percentages being expressed with respect to the total mass of said composition.
