Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005014352A1] The invention relates to an electrohydraulic brake system for motor vehicles, essentially comprising a braking pressure transmitter or main braking cylinder, a pressure medium container, an electrohydraulic pressure source, separating valves inserted into the link between the main brake cylinder and wheel brakes, inlet valves which are arranged upstream from the wheel brakes and outlet valves which are arranged downstream from the wheel brakes, in addition to a valve block which receives the pump, the separating valves and the inlet and outlet valves. The pressure source, the wheel brakes and the braking pressure sensor can be connected to the pressure medium container. In order to produce a compact electrohydraulic unit, the brake pressure transmitter (2) is integrated into the valve block (16) in such a way that all hydraulic connections between the brake pressure transmitter (2) and the separating valves (27-30) and inlet valves (47 - 50) are formed by bores in the valve block (16).
