[origin: WO2005014934A2] Disclosed is a method for charging a fiber suspension containing cellulose fibers with calcium carbonate. Said method comprises the following steps: liquid or dry calcium hydroxide or calcium oxide is introduced into the fiber suspension; gaseous carbon dioxide is introduced into the fiber suspension; calcium carbonate is precipitated by the carbon dioxide; and the fiber suspension is ground during the charging process.
