The chair, which can be a wheelchair, is equipped with legs or wheels and a seat frame (1) as well as a frame for the backrest (2). The seat frame (1) comprises two longitudinal bars joined at the rear and at the front with transversal elements, the front element serving as a rotation axle for an adjustment of the level of inclination. Several padded elements (5, 7) of a shape meeting the particular needs of the user can be transversally positioned on the seat frame (1) and attached to the two bars holding a profile forming the frame of the backrest (2).

Die Anmeldung bezieht sich auf einen Sitz mit einer Sitzfläche (1) und einer Rückenlehne (2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rückenlehne (2) zumindest eine Rückenführungsstange (3) umfasst, welche sich längs der Rückenlehne (2) erstreckt, dass an der Rückenführungsstange (3) ein Befestigungsprofil (4) befestigt ist und dass an dem Befestigungsprofil (4) mehrere Rückenpolsterelemente (5) befestigt sind, welche sich jeweils quer zu dem Befestigungsprofil (4) erstrecken und längs des Befestigungsprofils (4) übereinander angeordnet sind.
